Kosova, Spanja dhe Amerika -Ngjarje e vëretë

Ngjarje e vërtetë për një mendim abstrakt që të bënë për të qeshur me këtë ironi të rastit. Kjo deri-diku ndoshta do të ishte analoge sikur një plak nga Prishtina t’i përqafoj imigrantët e shumtë të jashtëligjshëm kinezë tani të pajisur edhe me leje pune në kohën kur (pu)shteti i Kosovës i ka vështirësuar procedurat e dhënies së dokumentit më elementar identifikues për qytetarët e vet – letërnjoftimit – duke iu kërkuar këtyre të sjellin dokumente të ish-Jugosllavisë dhe Serbisë si dëshmi.

Arsyetimi i përqafimit të fortë të kinezëve nga ana e plakut prishtinas, do të ishte: “Ju e keni zbuluar letrën dhe kjo na mjafton që ne të kemi certifikatat, lejet e punës dhe dokumentet tjera zyrtare prej letre në Kosovë pas juve, edhe pse Kina nuk na e njeh pavarësinë”.

Plaku i Istogut më mirë do të ishte sikur t’i thoshte një anglezi: “Ju e keni pasur koloni Amerikën (një pjesë të saj, atë kryesoren) dhe keni qenë pushtues, por neve na gëzon fakti që ju e keni njohur pavarësinë e Kosovës, e na dëshpëron shumë pse Spanja që e zbuloj Amerikën nuk na e njeh pavarësinë.”  Pra, kjo na duhet neve – njohja e pavarësisë e shumë gjëra tjera në dobi të shtetit. Jo kush e ka zbuluar Amerikën, kush letrën, e kush ka qenë kolonizator i Amerikës.  
Kur do të  lirohen shumë shqiptarë të Kosovës nga këto ëndrra mijëvjeçare? Unë mund t’iu tregoj për Istogun kur, por ju duhet të na tregoni për të tjerët.

 A real story reflecting a fictional opinion that makes us laugh about this situational irony. This to some extent would perhaps be analogous if an old man from Prishtina would emotionally hug many illegal Chinese immigrants which are now being equipped with working permits at the time when the Government of Kosova has complicated the procedures of issuing the very basic identification documents for its own citizens – the ID cards – by asking them to submit their documents of the former Yugoslavia and Serbia as a proof.

A justification for emotional hugging of the Chinese by a Kosovan Albanian old man in Prishtina, would be: “You have invented the paper, and that is enough to us to obtain certificates, working permits and other official documents made of paper in Kosova after you, despite that China does not recognize us as an independent country.”

The old man from Istog could be better saying to an Englishman: “America (a part of it, the most important one) was your colony and you were invaders, but we congratulate the fact that you (or your country) recognized Kosova’s independence, and we are deeply upset to Spain that discovered America but does not recognize our (political) independence”. Thus, that is what we need – the recognition of us as an independent country and many other things for the benefits of our state. In this respect, we are not interested who discovered America, the paper, and who was the colonizer of America.  
 
When will many Kosovan Albanians release themselves from such millennium dreams? I can tell about Istog when, but you should tell us about the rest.

Me rastin e nderrimit te komandes se KFOR-it spanjoll ne Istog (Kosove) ku ishin te pranishem autoritete lokale dhe njerez te komunitetit lokal, nje plak e perqafoi fort Majorin qe po largohej nga Kosova. Ky fundit e pyeti plakun: "Perse po me perqafon kur ne (Spanja) nuk e kemi njohur ende pavaresine e Kosoves?" Plaku iu pergjigj: "Ju e keni zbuluar Ameriken dhe kjo na mjafton".

During a recent Spanish KFOR command changeover in Istog, participated by municipal and party officials, an old man was emotionally hugging a Spanish major who was about to leave Kosovo. At one point the Spanish major asks the old man: “Why do you like us so much, when we have not even recognized Kosovo?” And the old man replies:

 “Well, you have discovered America, and that is enough to us.”
